Focus Group - Choosing A Name For My Newspaper

When researching into several newspapers I had found that there was a trend with newspapers titles, either contain words such as herald, times or now. Newspaper titles were also short being a maximum of three words.

The Three newspaper titles that I will present to my focus group are:

The Thanet Courier
The Thanet News
Kent Times
Our Thanet


Upon asking my focus group and recieving 15 responses from them I was able to put together a pie chart on which names people thought would best suit my newspapers target audience and content and aslo what name they thought would be the most effective.

Therefore for my Newspaper I will be calling It Our Thanet as 44% Of my target audience agreed that It would be best fitted for the newspaper I am going to create.
