JCDecaux supply companies with several different sizes and types of Billboard, the most popular being the roadside 48 sheet according to my point of contact working for the company. JCDecaux also offer 6 sheets, smaller billboards/posters that usually appear in shopping centres, along with their digital 6 sheets which have been introduced in the last few years. In the past year JCDecaux have encouraged customers to incoporate the use of NFC and QR Scanning on their digital six sheets that allow customers/viewers to scan a QR Code and recieve a voucher, redirect them to a web page or even now offer them certain offers at certain times of the day as most people now own smartphones. The use of interactive features have also been encouraged recently to form a bond between customer and company.
According To JCDecaux's website:
"NFC and QR enabled 6-sheets allow advertisers to interact with affluent and urban connected consumers, giving them a richer and deeper brand experience while they are out of home. With a simple swipe of a smartphone, consumers can download vouchers, view websites, be directed to exclusive buying opportunities, download games, music and video content and much, much more."

For my coursework I am going to create a 48 sheet billboard which is the standard size you would expect to find on the roadside. My next post will talk about the Codes And Conventions about past advertising campaigns carried out by world wide companies.
