Welcome

I have made this blog to keep track of and display the process of my Media Studies coursework. For my coursework, I shall be producing the first two pages of a regional newspaper, a billboard advertisement for the newspaper, and a website.

My inspirations so far are coming mainly from Metro newspaper.

Research & Planning
Ok Hadley-looking pretty good so far. Here's a few pointers:-
1. Planning will increase as you add drafts when you begin work on production
2. More on focus group: profile of them and more examples of their opinions. e.g. choosing your masthead, title, etc.
3. Not overly keen on presentation throughout: why nothingl ike a prezi, especially when you've included a tutorial on using prezi?! Work on jazzing up presentation and breaking down text dominated blog entries
4. Overall quality of expression needs to be tightened up by doing a SPG check ( lots of silly, minor errors) and using some appropriate media theory. I'll send you a link to help with website terminology. Overall, some excellent research for both ancillaries.

Currently working at 13/20

-More planning has been added about the masthead and referring to the focus group
-I am looking to create a prezi for my evaluation to 'jazz' up the presentation of my blog, I have also tried to use graphs in order to show results from focus group work to diversify the way things are representated on my blog.
-Focus Group work has been done for both of the ancillarys and will continue as I get closer to my final product.

Using Online Tutorials To Help Me In Photoshop

~For one of my adverts which will feature on my newspaper front cover I have decided to create a advert for a Paintball Site and will be using a picture of myself taken by a team member as out of all the ones taken on that day this was the best one with a paintball blurr of a ball coming out the barrel and I have had the idea of having paint splatters around the image to fade it into the background of the rest of the background so therefore will have to find out how to do so, therefore I went online to youtube and found a tutorial which is displayed below.
